Grass Roots Global is inspired by impoverished villages in Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam and seeks to provide funding for development projects in some of these villages. We donate 5% of our profits to education, clean water, and food projects in Cambodia. In addition, we directly support the villages and associated organizations by purchasing our products from the crafters.

The aim of Grass Roots Global is to provide a market in Canada for the beautifully handicrafted products from Cambodian villages and to provide natural, hand-made alternatives for the conscious consumer. As a result we offer hand-made, naturally-dyed or non-toxic, silk, cotton, wool, pashmina scarves; silk bags; recycled paper jewellery; and bags made out of a variety of recycled materials.
