TYPES OF PARTICIPATION AND ELIGIBILITY
- Delegate Participant
- Virtual Participant
A: DELEGATE PARTICIPANTS
The Delegate Participants, who will take part physically face-to-face at the venue of training, can be 45 maximum.
A1: Self-Financing Delegate Participants
They will come from open announcements. Such Delegate Participant shall be fulfilling the eligibility criteria. The Self-Financing Delegate Participant will bear by his/her own not only the tuition fees and travel expenses, but also other expenses at Turin for 10 consecutive days. The expenses of the training venue, training sessions, tea/coffee/snacks, venue logistics and equipments, etc. will be borne by organizers. The tuition fee to be charged from these Delegate Participants is mentioned on Register Now page. The applications received within the deadline will be selected by the Program Coordination Committee and an Admission Offer would be given to the selected candidates.
All the applicants for Delegate Participation will automatically be the Virtual Participation applicant too. It is because the application form (online) for both types of applicants is the same.
A2: Nominated Delegate Participants
The organizers will nominate a few delegates on their discretion from the sponsoring and/or partnering/collaborating organizations.
Eligibility for Delegate Participation
Candidates desirous to participate the Global Academy should be between the age of 21 years and 55 years and belong to one of the following categories:
- Completed or in Final Year of Bachelor Law degree (e.g., LLB, BL, JD, Bacharel em Direito, etc.)
- Master Law degree student or PhD student (legal or policy field)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Law (if not having Bachelor Law degree) with 3 years experience
- Young research scholar or scientist (legal or policy field)
- Legal practitioner or field personnel (having Law degree qualification or 3 years experience of practice or field work)
- NGO worker or activist or advocate (having Law degree qualification or 3 years experience of practice or field work)
B: VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS
All the participants joining virtually will come under this category. They will attend the program using the Zoom platform. All of them will be allowed to take part in the discussions and Q&A during the technical sessions. There will be NO limit of the number of these participants; they can be 100 or 1000 or more.
B1: Virtual Participants [with Certificate]
Anyone interested to apply for Virtual Participation will automatically be considered for Delegate Participation too. The application form for both the categories is the same. If someone is not interested to become Delegate Participant, he/she will not opt this option; but the applicant will primarily be the Virtual Participant upon his/his application submitted online. There will be a formal application process with a Registration Fee of USD 9 (everyone will be receiving a Certificate of Attendance).
Every Virtual Participant [with Certificate category] will be receiving a Certificate of Virtual Participation upon attending the program.
The general partner, collaborators and sponsoring organizations will send their nominations to the organizers. Such candidates will NOT pay Fee of USD 9. Candidates willing to be nominated may contact the General Partners, Collaborators and Sponsors of this program if they agree to nominate you.
B2: Virtual Participants [without Certificate]
All the participants joining virtually and NOT wanting a Certificate will come under this category. They will attend the program using the Zoom platform. All the participants will be allowed to take part in the discussions and Q&A during the technical sessions. NO Certificate of Virtual Participation upon online attendance will be provided to such virtual participants.
Eligibility for Virtual Participation
Candidates desirous to participate virtually the Global Academy can be of any age, preferably between 21 years and 72 years and belong to one of the following categories:
- Completed Bachelor Law degree (e.g., LLB, BL, JD, Bacharel em Direito, etc.)
- Master Law degree student or PhD student (legal or policy field)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Law (if not having Bachelor Law degree) with 3 years experience
- Research scholar or scientist (legal or policy field)
- Legal practitioner or field personnel (having Law degree qualification or 3 years experience of practice or field work)
- NGO worker or activist or advocate (having Law degree qualification or 3 years experience of practice or field work).
