Brief Bio
Agroecology has been at the heart of my career for the past 10 years, and I have been building my technical knowledge as a project manager at Schola Campesina APS and as a consultant in the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). I am certified in Development studies (University of Louvain, Belgium, 2010).
Some of my current workstreams include: the co-coordination of the pilot testing of the Tool for Agroecology Performance Evaluation (TAPE) in 15 countries of Europe and Central Asia (in collaboration of FAO’s Regional Office for Europe); a strong commitment in the work of the civil society (Civil Society and Indigenous People Mechanism – CSM) in the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) to defend Human Rights in the global governance spaces related to food and agriculture; the coordination of a report on monitoring schemes of biodiversity linked to food systems in the Caucasus, Balkans and Central Asia.
