1999 to 2009 he held the position of Mayor of the Municipality of Berbenno (BG) - Since 2014 he has been Mayor of the Municipality of Capizzone (BG).
President and founding partner in 1997 of the company GAL Valle Imagna Srl with operational headquarters in Viale alle Fonti 10, in the Municipality of 24038 S.Omobono Imagna - Bergamo, position held until 2002. The company closed its business in 2005. The aims of the Company were: Technical assistance for rural development. Innovation and relaunch of rural tourism. Small businesses, crafts and services. Protection and improvement of the environment and living conditions. Human resources training and recruitment aid.
Professional Experience
1985 to 1998 he coordinated, for the Municipalities of Almenno San Salvatore and Palazzago (BG), the management and organization activity of the Municipal Technical Office as Head of the Service with specific attention to the management of the territory, planning and construction management, planning and building regulations
1999, he oversaw the relations between the Provincial Administration of Bergamo - Territory Management and Planning Service - and the Lombardy Region - D.G. Urban Planning - for the launch of the Regional Information System for the management of Regulatory Plans (SIPUR)
Member of the Provincial Technical Commission for the examination of funding applications on the Valtellina Law and for the preparation of the new regulation for the implementation of revolving funds - Law 102/90. He worked at the Provincial Administration of Bergamo - Protected Areas as well as the examination and opinion of the Environmental Impact Assessment in particular for artificial barriers on rivers.
During 2000/2001 he was consultant at the technical table, coordinated by Prof. Arch. Ing. Andrea Tosi of the Politecnico di Milano, on the initiative promoted by the European Union - with the name "Ritts Est Lombardia" on the theme of optimization and transfer of innovation between district service centers and regional infrastructures.

• Speaker at the European seminar in Dessau (D) held on 11 June 1999 and organized by the European Observatory of Brussels on the theme "Transnational Cooperation - comparing experiences"
• Head of the transnational cooperation project linked to the Culture 2000 community initiative on the theme: "Jacques Lecoq's theatrical pedagogy: a teaching of dramatic creation", project leader of the Teatro Arsenale di Milano project with seven European states involved in the action (Action not financed)
• April 2002 - Coordinator and Project Leader of the “Walled Cities: from division to sharing” project relating to the redevelopment and networking of European walled cities. The action was funded by the European Commission with the Culture 2000 program. The project was joined by European partners from: Spain - France - Italy - Austria - Hungary and Greece. Leader of the initiative is the University of Bergamo.
