Brief Bio

2006-2016 – Worked at the Institute of Geological Sciences (IGS) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine at various positions (from engineer to researcher). Main directions of activity divided in 4 teams: geochemical methods of prospecting for hydrocarbons, ecological, hydrological and hydroecological researches.

Main duties at work :
– scientific field research;
– database creation;
– making maps, graphs, diagrams;
– mathematical and statistical processing of data

Much of my work has dealt with estimation and prediction of groundwater resources with hydrological methods. In 2012-2014, this kind of scientific work was carried out by me (as a responsible executive) in order of one of the largest poultry in Ukraine and Europe – PJSC “Myronіvska Poultry Farm”. Within the framework of the researchers hydrological and hydrochemical observation in the lower part of the Rosava river basin were organized.

For almost ten years I have participated in a scientific field research expeditions in the Black Sea, Azov Sea and other parts of Ukraine.

2011-2012 – In parallel with my scientific work at the Institute I engaged in teaching at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Taught courses: “Melioration and optimization of hydroecological systems” and “Methods of processing and analysis of hydrometeorological information”.

2007-2011 – Studying for a postgraduate degree in the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (without interruption from production). In 2011 successfully defended my PhD thesis in geography (specialty 11.00.07 – land hydrology, water resources, hydrochemistry)

Since 2016 - till present time – Leading researcher of the Carpathian National Natural Park (Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukraine). Responsible executor of research work: "Dynamics of hydrometeorological indices of the Carpathian National Park in the context of global climate change".

Directions of activities:
– problem of spruce forests drying in the park;
– researcher studying the mountain lakes;
– study of springs (yield of springs, water quality, water chemistry);
– conducting monitoring studies on the Prut River;
– studying underground feeding of the rivers.

The duties also include mathematical and statistical processing of data, compilation of cartographic materials, publication of research results (the list of publications for the last five years is shown on a separate letter).
