Brief Bio
For about 30 years I have been researching the history and culture of national groups (Ukrainians, Poles, Jews, Russians and others) in Podilia - one of the most picturesque areas of Ukraine. In total, about 150 scientific and popular science works have been published on this topic, including 5 monographs. Two my articles have been published in Poland. I participated in several foreign conferences (Poland, Russia).
My thesis for a PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences in specialty “History of Ukraine” was defended on May, 1998. The subject of the dissertation was: "National Relations in Podilia in 1920-1930s".
At the same time, working as a scientist in the Kamianets-Podilsky State Historical Museum-Reserve, I was engaged in the creation of museums, historical and geographical expositions, exhibitions, issues of geographical local lore, wrote several works on the history of Podolsk Tovtry, created new tourist routes.
I am member of the Center for the Study of the History of Podilia, the National Union of Local Historians of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Monuments and Culture.
I was awarded with the Diploma of Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration, Diploma of the Mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi for a significant contribution in the scientific and tourist activity.
