Brief Bio
Experience in developing manuals and training modules:
While working at Public Foundation CAMP-Alatoo, I participated in the development of the following manuals: "Rural Development Planning", "Soil and Water Conservation Technologies", "Institutional Development of CBT", "Household Management Strategy".
Conducted a number of trainings in mountain villages of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan on sustainable management of natural resources, soil and water conservation technologies, rural development planning, pasture management, financial management, etc.
Research projects:
Within the framework of the research project "Improvement of economic efficiency of pasture use" (2011-2015), conducted field research on ecological assessment of pastures, conducted trainings and round tables, developed recommendations for amendments to the Pasture Low.
Within the framework of the research project "Promotion of Institutional Development of Common Resource Management in Central Asia, InDeCA" (2013-2015) conducted analytical research among pasture committees in Kyrgyzstan. Within the research project "EcoCAR - Ecosystem Assessment and Capacity Building for Sustainable Floodplain Forest Management along the Central Asian Rivers Tarim (Xinjiang, China) and Naryn (Kyrgyzstan)" (2015-2017), funded by the Volkswagen Foundation, I was the country coordinator.
I was also as local coordinator of the research project "Development of methods to estimate organic carbon stocks and improve climate change reporting on agricultural ecosystems in Kyrgyzstan (CARB-ASIA)" (2018-2020), funded by the German Ministry of the Environment.
I have more than 60 scientific publications. Presented the project results at local, regional and international levels.
I successfully passed trainings on institutional strengthening of the organisation, team building, management of financial resources, monitoring and assessment, etc. Experienced in coordination of regional projects in mountain regions and conducting of different workshops for communities. I have also experience on project management, training of trainers, facilitation and moderation of events.
At the NSU I teach agronomy, ecology, soil science and responsible for the management of the international educational programs and projects.
