Brief Bio

Vesna Tunguz is a Professor of Soil science and Soil Management at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of East Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Prof. Tunguz is a member of the Steering Committee of the COST action "European Soil Biology Data Warehouse for Soil Protection" and a member of the international editorial board of several journals as well as international conferences and Remtech Europe Ambassador. She is a technical expert of the Institute for Accreditation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ISO/IEC 17025: 2018). As well as an expert of the Institute for Standardization of BiH for Environmental Protection and Agriculture. She is a national CAMP expert for the United Nations Environment Program-Mediterranean Action Plan, as well as an expert of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska for revision and standardization of profession for agriculture and food processing. She is a specialist of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic Srpska in the field of basics, protection, development and use of agricultural land. Prof. Tunguz was a project coordinator for two project for the Ministry of Scientific and Technological development, Higher Education and Information Society of the Republic of Srpska. She is author and co-author more scientific papers in peer reviewed international journals and 4 books.
