GOAL OF FSc MER 2021

Building perspectives and capacities of young researchers, PhD students, teachers, field practitioners and future leaders on regional mountain ecology, sustainable development, local livelihoods and linking world’s climate by integrating principles of biologically inspired solutions.

GLOBAL SCOPE

The natural ecosystems in mountains areas are crucial for the existence of humankind on this planet. FSc MER 2021 program is to cover the contexts of mountain regions globally, i.e. Himalayas, Alps, Andes, Rockies, Karakoram, Pamir, Carpathian, Caucasus, Mount Kenya etc. About 40 participants are invited from all over the world.

GLOBAL FACULTIES

FSc MER 2021 will be delivered in English employing participatory training methodologies with the integration of regional ecological perspectives. Our faculty members are internationally renowned professors, scientists and professionals who will impart their grounded experiences on respective topics.

FSc MER 2020 was floated successfully and received exciting response from all over the world. But due to COVID 19 pandemic the program was postponed to take place in 2021. FSc MER 2021 will be a uniquely diverse global program being co-organized and sponsored by renowned, reputed and premier universities, institutions, international organizations, public foundations, local councils and government bodies belonging to various countries of Asia, Europe, South America, Pasific, Africa and North America. It is also uniquely designed to cover multiple dimensions of mountain sustainable development and resource conservation.
