Dr. Csaba Bálint graduated as an Agricultural and Rural Development Engineer, as well as an MSc in Regional and Environmental Economics from from Szent István University, Hungary. He has his PhD in Regional Sciences. From 2014 to 2019 he worked for the SZIE Institute of Regional Economics and Rural Development, as Assistant Lecturer and Coordinator of the technical colleges. Since 2020, he has been working for the AKI Institute of Agricultural Economics, Social Research Department, as a Researcher. From the year 2021, he has been a part-time Assistant Professor at Corvinus University of Budapest, Department of Agricultural Economics. He has been participating in several EU-funded projects, such as CATAlySt, SoFarEDU, TraEce, LivestockSense, Farmwell, SHERPA, etc. Currently, he is the president of ECOVAST Hungary association, which is a member organization of the European Council for the Village and Small Town (ECOVAST).
