Dr. Fuad Bagirov studied mechanical engineering at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, where he received a Masters. He also obtained a Masters in Economics and at the Azerbaijan State Economic University. He graduated with a PhD in Engendering at the Moscow University of Oil and Gas.
He began his career as a University Teacher at the Higher Military School, where he taught both technical and economics subjects. Later he taught at Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan University of Construction and Architecture, Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry. Today, along with the fact that he is a full-time teacher of the Western Caspian University, he also teaches at the magistracy of Azerbaijan State Economic University.
Dr. Baghirov is a highly demanded expert in the field of international project programming, management and evaluation as well as in specialized areas such as green economy, sustainable development, etc. He has participated as an expert in numerous projects of the European Union, World Bank, UNDP, Asian Development Bank. Currently, he is the Country Representative of the Sustainable Caucasus Organization in Azerbaijan, which implements projects funded by the Swiss agency SDC.
He has written more than 20 scientific articles and 2 books on Initial Public Offering. He also an author of five patents.
