Prof. Gabriel graduated from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Faculty of Engineering and Management of Technological Systems, and Valahia University of Targoviste, Faculty of Sciences and Arts, with specialization: Mathematics-Informatics.
He has two Master's degrees in Project Management, and Mathematics-Didactics, both obtained at Valahia University of Targoviste. He is Professor at the Teacher Training Department, Valahia University of Targoviste, having an area of interest on the issues related to ICT for educational purposes and educational technologies. He acted/acts as the local coordinator and member of the research teams in various European projects, most of them being oriented on education (European Programmes: Socrates Comenius 2.1, LLP, Erasmus+, FP7, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe).
He is also the Director of the Centre for Scientific Research and Innovation in Educational Sciences “I.T. Radu”, within ICSTM (Scientific and Technological Institute of Multidisciplinary Research of Valahia University of Targoviste). He has published more than 300 scientific articles - at the moment 120 of them being indexed in Web of Science (Clarivate) and 70 in international databases.
