Higher Educational Institution «Podillia State University» has ancient history and good scientific traditions. The university was established on the basis of the Kamianets-Podilskyi State Agricultural Institute, founded in 1919. It is a multidisciplinary agricultural institution of higher education that conducts innovative educational activities at the levels of higher education, conducts basic and applied scientific research, promotes the dissemination of scientific knowledge and conducts cultural and educational activities.
Today, there are 4 faculties, 2 Educational and Scientific Institutes, the Research Institute of Cereal Crops named after O. Alekseeva, Training and Research Center for Retraining and Advanced Training, Research Center «Podillia», Botanical Garden, 19 Training and Research Laboratories. The university consists of 7 Professional Colleges that are located in Khmelnytskyi, Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
University graduates work in the agricultural sector and other sectors of the Ukrainian economy. There are statesmen and politicians, scientists, employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and law enforcement agencies among them. A lot of them have been awarded high state awards and honors.
The mission of the University is to train highly qualified competitive specialists of the new generation by providing educational services of excellent quality, adherence to high standards in teaching disciplines, scientific and professional activities for key areas of state development.
We are building a system that generates knowledge and intelligence and has a positive impact on the development and harmonization of society.
